If a picture is worth a thousand words, each one of Heather Detert’s photos tells a story.
As a child, Heather always possessed a passion for photography. Her interests always spanned a variety of art forms and creative and philanthropic pursuits. However, once she started shooting concerts and live music in 2010, she decided to pursue photography professionally. From capturing A-list chart-topping Grammy Award-winning talent in her lens live to chronicling intense crowd moments, Heather never misses a moment of the action. At this point, she has shot nearly 100 shows, and she’s also shot a variety of other scenes and landscapes, both urban and rural. Recently, Heather’s work caught the eye of online music hub,ARTISTdirect.com, and she was asked to become a contributing photographer. It’s given her an even wider platform to showcase her work. She also shot the behind-the-scenes photos for JVC Mobile Entertainment’s Turn Me On 4: Decades viral video campaign, and her work is available for purchase on prints or canvas.
Heather Hyde Detert is the Co-Owner and Creative Director of American Rebel, a boutique PR agency that focuses in fashion, branding, events, and marketing. Heather is also an accomplished jewelry designer under her maiden name, Heather Hyde www.heatherhyde.com.
She’s about to capture many more stories though…stay tuned… |
